Hey there! We are the Russell family. A Family who headed for the Country to find ourselves and build a future. We have built a homestead that we call The Dusty Pickle, silly, but catchy! And that is just us....

At The Dusty Pickle you will see woodwork creations and services offered by our farm. You will see our animals, gardens and land. The transformation of a 100 year old Farmhouse nestled on 22 acres out in the Country. We’ll share the ups, downs and everything in between.

Homesteading has become the dream of many these days, but it has become our dream come true. We are a kind of crunchy, kind of not Family. Wellness is important to us and we live chemical free around here. Creating a life that we can sustain ourselves off the land we call home was important. Becoming free of the chain of community and living for ourselves. Dreaming up a future and building our own path.
